We have been involved with this amazing breed for the past 14 years.
Hat Creek Rottis is a small, family-run kennel, 40 minutes East of Calgary, Alberta.
Our dogs live in our home as members of our family - many nights my bed is so full of dogs there is no room for me.
They all have the Rich Mahoganny markings and German bloodlines.

If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous,
he will not bite you;
that is the principal difference between a dog and a man.

A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you
more than he loves himself.

Rottweilers are a very intelligent dog - they require lots of attention (including dicipline - as with any dog, they need to know you are the boss, not them);
they need lots of love, and lots of excercise.
We reserve the right to sell our puppies only to homes we feel are suitable to the puppies needs.
Dogs are not our whole life,
but they make our lives whole.

Points to Ponder:
One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were
driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a
parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his
brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches! The driver
of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us.
My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy, and I mean, he was
really friendly.
So I asked, "Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your
car and sent us to the hospital!" That is when my taxi driver taught
me what I now call, "The Law of the Garbage Truck". He explained
that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of
garbage (frustration, anger, and disappointmnet, etc.). As their
garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll
dump it on you. Don't take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish
them well, and move on. Don't take their garbage and spread it to
other people at work, at home, or on the streets.
Try not to be a garbage truck and if you happen to dump your load
you should remember to apologize; people will respect you more.
The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks
take over their day. Life is 10% what you make it and 90% how you take it! Free Dog Listings
